Laura qualified as a physiotherapist from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2001. Since then she has held a wide variety of physiotherapy roles in the NHS and more laterally the Private sector. Laura has worked for a leading Sports Injury clinic, FASIC, where she was involved with rehabilitating elite athletes, and has also worked as a contracted physiotherapist to Sports Scotland Scottish Institute of Sport, with a special interest in swimming.
Laura did her APPI Pilates training in 2009, and together with Tess, set up Pilates Plus Physio in 2010. Since then Laura has enjoyed developing her Pilates instruction, and embedding Pilates and its principals into her approach to Physiotherapy.
Laura enjoys being a physiotherapist more now than she ever has, and enjoys the satisfaction of being able to provide a service that she herself would like to receive.
